Limited to 20 People
Involving plenty of fun, food, and fellowship, this trip will give you opportunities to process your life purpose and receive one-on-one coaching from Luke & Amy. They will also be sharing on conflict resolution and on the Art of Listening.
The trip begins at a designated pickup spot near Lancaster, PA, and ends at the same place. All food, housing (private lodge), and transportation (private mini-bus) expenses are included in the price of your ticket.
Geared toward thriving individuals or couples who desire to take their "personal leadership game" to the next level—whether with spouses, children, business colleagues, or church members—and make their lives count to the glory of God! Fresh mountain air, big open sky, and breathtaking beauty. Let's get away together for several days of solitude, meaningful conversation, and adventures in our Father's world.
We will depart from Lancaster County, PA early morning and arrive at our destination later in the day. Lunch will be provided on the way and we'll have dinner at a local restaurant in Lake Placid, NY.
We will hike to a set of waterfalls and take time to enjoy disc golf, group activities and a teaching time.
This is the big day. We hike several hours up one of the local Adirondack mountains for a spectacular view. All hiking is optional...you can do as much or as little as you want!
We will debrief and travel back to the Lancaster, PA area, arriving late in the afternoon.

As a leadership developer and life coach, I help non-profit and business leaders understand how to maximize their God-given potential to lead and serve others. I do this through EPIC Adventures, keynote presentations, half-day/all-day workshops and one-on-one coaching.
I work with business leaders to create a serving leadership culture in our society. I am also the President of Reverb Network, which provides leadership training, consulting and coaching to faith-based and non-profit organizations.
I taught school for three years, directed a non-profit organization for ten years, and have acquired a Masters in Leadership from Asbury Seminary. I have spoken broadly on leadership, team building, and personal mission over the last 20 years on four continents and numerous states and provinces in the USA and Canada. I taught Foundations of Management & Leadership at Colorado Christian University and travel internationally to conduct leadership development programs.
I currently reside in Prospect Heights, IL with my wife Amy and have three children— Brittany, Courtney, and Jamin, and three grandchildren—Aviana, Emmett, and Ezekiel.
These EPIC adventures are rooted in four key principles. We want you to:
Of course! You won't get to room together for the trip, but you are welcome to sign up for two single slots, assuming they are still available.
All hiking is optional—you can do as little as you want and as much as you want. None of the hike will require rock climbing skills...this is a walk-up trail that will certainly challenge you physically but is doable for those who are not in supreme physical shape. Check out "From Couch Potato to Trail Warrior" near the bottom of our main page for a workout plan and some ideas on how to prepare for this hike.
Once you have reserved your spot,
your final step is to complete an application and waiver.
